Teagan C. Dolan
Teagan C. Dolan focuses her practice on toxic tort and environmental contamination, medical malpractice, defective drugs and medical devices, and other serious personal injury and wrongful death claims. With a deep commitment to advocating for individuals harmed by the negligence of others, Teagan combines her legal expertise with a rich background in science.
Before law school, Teagan built a career in the environmental sector. Her work included mapping water quality, teaching limnology, and calculating toxic air emissions. She has authored a textbook chapter on ecological restoration techniques of coal mining sites. These experiences equipped her with a unique understanding of complex science, which she leverages to serve her clients' needs.
While in law school, Teagan was selected as the Executive Director of the Moot Court Program, where she was a two-time winner of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association Prize, the Robert Barker Award, and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. She also served as an editor for the Sustainable Development Code and NYSBA New York Environmental Lawyer. Teagan balanced her courseload with full-time work as a law clerk, teaching assistant, research assistant, and IT technician. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she also dedicated hundreds of hours to assist individuals at risk of homelessness.
Teagan enjoys art, cycling, watching women's soccer, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
