Joseph A. Regan
Joseph A. Regan is a graduate of St. John Fisher University and the Cornell University Law School and has been with the firm since 1978. He focuses his legal practice on personal injury law, including medical malpractice, product liability, toxic torts, and automobile accidents. He has extensive experience litigating personal injury matters at the trial and appellate levels in Federal and State courts.
He has been listed in the medical malpractice law, personal injury litigation, and product liability litigation sections of the prestigious Best Lawyers in America directory since 2005 and has been chosen as one of New York’s Super Lawyers since 2008. He is a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Monroe County Bar Association.
In 2016, Joe was honored with the Leader in Law award for The Daily Record‘s Attorneys of the Year Awards. He also received recognition for Best Lawyers in America: Lawyer of the Year in 2021 - Product Liability Litigation - Plaintiffs - Rochester, NY. He is a past Co-Chair of the Monroe County Bar Association’s Medical Liaison Committee and has served on numerous bar association committees related to litigation and the courts. He is an elected member of the Rochester Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, where he has served as Treasurer and as a member of the Executive Committee. He has frequently lectured on a variety of trial topics at seminars on behalf of the New York State Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association, as well as ABOTA and the National Business Institute.
