Governor Cuomo Deploys DFS Mobile Command Center to Help Property Owners in Hoosick Falls

On Tuesday, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo assigned the Department of Financial Services to set up a Mobile Command Center in Hoosick Falls in order to assist homeowners and residents who may have been affected by the mortgage limitations put in place by local banks due to the village's water supply being contaminated by PFOA.

The Mobile Command Center was set up at HAYC3 Armory located at 80 Church Street in Hoosick Falls on Tuesday, February 16th, and will continue today, February 17th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents will be assisted with mortgage, refinancing and insurance issues related to the PFOA contamination.

"My administration is continuing to deliver on-the-ground support to the people of Hoosick Falls," said Governor Cuomo. "This will help ensure that homeowners and residents in the area can be informed and utilize all options available to them. I encourage anyone with questions to meet with trained DFS personnel this week."

Faraci Lange is currently investigating bringing a lawsuit against those believed to be responsible for the cancers and other illnesses caused by this Hoosick Falls PFOA Contamination.
