Hadley L. Matarazzo has been named a partner in the law firm of Faraci Lange LLP. Since joining the firm in 2010, Matarazzo has focused her practice on defective pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, environmental toxic torts, and medical malpractice.
During her years at Faraci Lange, Matarazzo has grown the firm's mass tort practice. She served on the trial team for the first scheduled bellwether trial in United States District Court in Cleveland that led to the recently reached settlement agreement involving thousands of lawsuits related to DePuy Orthopaedics Inc.'s recalled ASR hip implant system, including a Rochester resident's bellwether case.
In addition, Matarazzo was recently appointed to the Plaintiff Steering Committee in the Biomet M2a Magnum Hip Implant products liability litigation (MDL 2391) in Indiana. An additional appointment is pending to the Science Committee in the Stryker Rejuvenate and ABGII Hip System multi-county litigation in Bergen County, N.J.
Hadley Matarazzo serves on the board of directors of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. A Rochester, N.Y. resident, she earned her law degree from the Rutgers University School of Law Newark and is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey.
